What we collect
- Usage statistics. One analytics cookie via Google Analytics, set only after you accept the consent banner. It tells us which tools get used and which pages get visited. No ads. No tracking across other sites.
- Account data. If you sign in with Google we store your email, your display name and the optional profile you choose to save. This lives in Firebase and Firestore, services run by Google.
- Your location. If you use the sky census, your location stays in your browser. We never receive it and never store it.
Why and on what legal basis
Analytics runs on your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR). You can decline and the whole site works the same. Account data is processed because you ask us to keep a profile for you (article 6.1.b GDPR). We do not profile you and we do not make automated decisions about you.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months and then deleted. Account data is kept while your account exists and removed when you delete it or ask us to.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data at any time. Write to michaelcebralclase@gmail.com and we will answer within a month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the AEPD, the Spanish data protection authority, at aepd.es.
Third parties
Google Analytics provides usage statistics, only after consent. Firebase and Firestore store accounts. Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else. See the cookies page for the exact cookies and storage keys.
